expo PetroTrans 2012 – Record Number of International Visitors

Over 3,900 visitors, 30 per cent of them from abroad, look back with satisfaction at the Trade Fair for Logistics, Transport and Handling in the Petroleum Industry. The fact that the number of international visitors has once again grown noticeably in its fifth year illustrates the importance of the expo PetroTrans as an international industry gathering.

The expo PetroTrans 2012 in Kassel ended on Saturday, 29 September 2012. For three days, some 100 companies from 10 countries presented their petroleum-related products, innovations and services to the expert visitors in two double halls. Held for the fifth time, the expo PetroTrans was able to further strengthen its status as the leading trade fair in the industry. This status was reflected particularly by the increase in the number of international visitors from over 40 countries, who made up 30 per cent of the attending public.

The trade fair visitors covered a wide spectrum, from managing directors and service engineers to hazardous materials officers and tanker drivers.

Since the premier event in 2004, expo PetroTrans international trade fair has developed into the most important industry event in international petroleum logistics. The outstanding response to the last, fifth event in 2012 emphasized once again the importance of expo PetroTrans as the leading trade fair in petroleum logistics.

As the only trade fair of its type so far, the expo PetroTrans has become established as the lead fair in petroleum logistics and offers all the innovations and information in all aspects of the mobile petroleum industry at 2-year intervals. In 2012 around 100 exhibitors presented an extensive range of new items from the petroleum industry in halls 1 – 4 of the Kassel Exhibition.
The expo PetroTrans opens its gates again at the Kassel Exhibition from 01 to 03 October, 2014.
